Project Director DHA Bahawalpur, Brig Shahid Mahmood, planted a sapling of a tree in a ceremony held at DHA BWP site on 13th Aug, 2018 to formally mark the beginning of a massive tree plantation drive. DHA has started planting variety of trees, plants and flowers across the main road and streets at project site, which is part of the comprehensive horticulture plan developed by DHA BWP. This initiative is in-line with Pakistan Army’s Sarsabz-o-Shadab (SOS) program where Pakistan Army and it’s attached organizations have planned to undertake a massive tree plantation drive to improve the overall environment during next three years.
