Q-34: What is the procedure for verification of Intimation Letter / affidavit-2?


1. Investor / Land Owner / Purchaser will submit an application to Dir Land DHA Bahawalpur as per specific format for verification of Intimation Letter/Affidavit-2.
2. Land Branch DHA Bahawalpur will ask the applicant for deposition of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) into DHA Bahawalpur account as verification charges.
3. After deposition of verification fee DHA will verified the document on the application form after necessary scrutiny of the record.

Q-35: What is the procedure for cancellation of Intimation Letter / affidavit-2 ?


Fol procedure will adopt for cancellation of affidavit -2 in case of cutting / changes / amendments / corrections made in affidavit which makes it dubious and non-transparent.
1. Investor will submit an application to Project Director DHA Bahawalpur for cancellation of Affidavit-2.
2. After approval of the competent authority, Land Branch DHA Bahawalpur will ask the applicant for deposition of Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) into DHA Bahawalpur account as cancellation charges.
3. After deposition of cancellation fee, DHA will issue a new affidavit-2 to the applicant against cancelled affidavit-2.
4. No changes to the contents will be made except the ones declared in the application.

Q-36: What Kind of ballot is going to be held on 25 Dec 2018, please elaborate?


Ans: DHAB is scheduled to conduct Ballot for Allocation of plot and villa numbers on 25 Dec 2018. All members who will complete their outstanding installments till 20 Nov 2018 and get their Intimation/Open Affidavit files Transferred/Allocated against their names will be included in ballot. Numbers for plot sizes of 10 Marla (installment), 2 kanal (installment), 4 Marla commercial & 1 kanal (installment and allocation) and villas of 6,9,12 Marla (installment)will be allotted in the ballot.


Q-37: Customers who were successful in plot ballot but have neither paid down-payment nor any installment; can they pay all dues and avail surcharge waiver facility?


Ans: As per policy of DHAB, it’s not possible now. If someone has not paid the down payment and has not become the member of DHAB, then his file has been closed.


Q-38: What is the exact procedure to avail surcharge waiver facility? Is there any requirement of submission of application?


Ans: There is no need to submit any application or form, just pay your all outstanding installments till 20 Nov 2018 and if you have already paid then wait for ballot date i.e. 25 Dec 2018.


Q-39: Do we need to have allocation number of 1Kanal Affidavit file to become part of ballot scheduled for 25 Dec, 2018?


Ans: To become part of allocation of plot and villa number ballot, make sure that your affidavit file is converted into allocation file before 15 Dec 2018.


Q-40: If a customer is having 4 installments pending and pays only 2 instalments till 20 Nov 2018, will he be getting surcharge waiver on 2 installments paid or he needs to pay all 4 outstanding instalments to avail surcharge waiver facility?


Ans: To avail surcharge waiver facility one must pay all remaining/outstanding installments till 20 Nov 2018.


Q-41: It is apprehended that only 50% files of 1 Kanal are included in Plot & Villa Number Ballot, to be held on 25th Dec at DHA Bahawalpur.


Ans: All the file holders having their file allocation process completed or have paid their due payments, will be allocated numbers in the ballot. The development work of some of the sectors is nearing completion and despite that development charges are still not paid, most of the members will be allocated plots in the developed sectors, while remaining members will be given Plot Numbers in Sectors where DHAB is planning development work from next year.

DHA Bahawalpur is the only DHA which has initiated development work on its 5 x Sectors, two years in advance without taking development charges and from 2019 onwards will offer possession. All DHAs start development after the balloting and charge development dues but DHAB is offering developed plots to most of the members after balloting which makes DHA Bahawalpur more attractive for investors.
